Beim Scheiden
Language: Alemannic
Leäb' wohl, leäb' wohl! Du host mi Wort,
Der Lenz ist voar 'er Thüer.
I gang mit schwerem Herze fort,
Wie herb, wie herb ist mir!

Und wo n i bi, so schrib' i z'erst
Mi'm liebe Meäddele.
Wenn d' eppa nint meh vu mer hörst,
So leäb' i nimmameh.

Und find'st amole ussewärts
Mi Grab, as könnt scho sy,
So denk': Do schloft a dütsches Herz,
Und setz' a Blüemle bi!

Confirmed with Dichtungen in alemannischer Mundart aus Vorarlberg, dritte Sammlung, Innsbruck, Bregenz und Feldkirch: Wagner'sche Universitäts-Buchhandlung, 1876, page 123.
