Vandraren
Language: Norwegian (Nynorsk)
Eg hev vandrat um verdi so mang ein veg,
trampat so mangt eit kummerfullt steg.
Verdi var gjild, og verdi var stor,
gleda og lykke dei fanntes pa jord.

Strålande augo og raudnande kinn
hev fangit mit sinn!
No er eg trött, og sliten min fot.
Verdi var gjild, men ho var ikkje god.

Kvart ljosande håp, som dit augo skapte,
kvar varmande gleda i verdi eg tapte.
Um eg ei grav, kjå ho mor hadde fått,
då kvilte eg godt.
