Stille Liebe
Language: German (Deutsch)
Fernes Abendrot erblassend
weicht der Dämm'rung fahlem Licht;
kleiner Sterne keusches Flimmern
in das Waldesdunkel bricht.

Tief im stillen Grunde träumend
such' ich nach der Sterne Schein,
sehnend schaue ich ihr Grüßen;
bei den Sternen möcht' ich sein!

Schüchtern regt sich's in den Zweigen,
Liebchen naht mit schnellem Fuß,
und schon brennt mir auf den Lippen
ihrer Liebe Feuerkuss.

In den weichen Armen selig
ruh' ich süß an ihrer Brust;
Sterne, sagt es eurem Himmel:
Da ist meines Himmels Lust!
