Am Himmelsraum ein Wölkchen nur, Licht, wie ein Engelsflügel, [So still der Wald, so]1 still die Flur, Kaum weht ein Hauch vom Hügel. Nur Glockenklang in blauer Luft Schwebt nah, dann ferne nieder, Und in das Meer voll Glanz und Duft Taucht eine Möve nieder. [Dann]2 stille wieder ringsumher, Und feierliche Freude, So still das Land, so still das Meer! Es ist ja Sonntag heute!
