The wild‑brier
Language: English
Night falls with pleading and with pain, On dead flower faces beats the rain; Low winds in the wet hollows sigh, "The sweetest things the soonest die." Through utter darkness and chartless space the day god mounts to his bright place; The June winds down the wood path blows. The wild-brier answers with a rose.
