Wenn ich a Vögerl wär'
Language: Bavarian (Boarisch)
Wenn i a Vögerl wär',
und a zwa Flügerl hätt',
flög' i zu dir.
Weil's aber nit kann sei,
schick i mi halt su drei,
bleib' i halt hier.

'S Leben streicht trauri hin,
wenn i bei dir nit bin
hab' halt ka Freud;
aber wärst du noch mei,
i wollt bald lusti sei,
dann wär's a Freud.

Wenn i a Madl sieh',
gang i gleich zu ihr hi,
schau ihr in's G'sicht,
doch wenn i näher tritt,
hoat's deini Äugli nit
und nit di G'sicht.
