Pierrot's first musing

Pierrot pictured Columbine's heart 
as an egg -- not a live kind, but 
one of marble, that was 
sacrificed from some 
ancient Greek altar and now 
found itself surrounded 
by skin and ribs. 
"Odd," it thought, 
and as cracking was not 
an option, it merely spun, 
slower than our globe 
(though the opposite 
direction) and relished 
its increasing smoothness.
