O Öhringen, du Stadt, du Stadt an Ehren reich.
So mancher Städte Pracht wird häufig auch besungen,
Doch ist dein heitres Bild nicht minder schön gelungen.
An Buntheit, Tradition ist kaum dir eine gleich

Im Hohenloher Land. Und wenn ich dir entweich,
So kehr ich gerne heim; denn ich bin stets durchdrungen
Von dir für alle Zeit. Und rund um dich geschwungen
Ist herrlich die Natur und scheut nicht den Vergleich.

Dein Ruhm strahlt mächtig aus durch deiner Bürger Fleiß,
Durch deines Schlosses Glanz und weiter Gärten Zierde,
Und durch den Ruf des Weins, den Goldmedaillen -- Preis,

Durch deiner Stiftskirche erhab ́nen Ernst und Würde,
Durch Sport, Musik und Tanz, der Fachwerkbauten Kreis.
Drum preis ich, schöne Stadt, dich stets auch mit Begierde.
