Och Lacy!
Language: Dutch (Nederlands)
De bloemekens aen der heiden,
de loverkens in het wout,
wes sullen si noch ontbeiden?
och lacy, den winter is cout.
dat wisten de voghelkens clene,
si vloghen over de see.
en ic sit hier allene,
dat doet miner herten so wee.

Wie sal noch plucken en winden
de rosen tot enen crans?
wie sal noch onder der linden
gaen springhen den avontdans?
ic woude, ic mochte verdromen
den arghen winter cout,
en slapen met al de bomen
en bloemen in beemt en wout!

Collected by A. H. Hoffmann von Fallersleben in Horae Belgicae
