Я пришла сюда, бездельница, 
Все равно мне, где скучать!
На пригорке дремлет мельница.
Годы можно здесь молчать.

Над засохшей повиликою
Мягко плавает пчела;
У пруда русалку кликаю,
А русалка умерла.

Затянулся ржавой тиною
Пруд широкий, обмелел,
Над трепещущей осиною
Легкий месяц заблестел.

Замечаю все как новое. 
Влажно пахнут тополя.
Я молчу. Молчу, готовая
Снова стать тобой, земля.

Je suis venue ici

Je suis venue ici, la paresseuse,
Toujours la même chose pour moi , toujours m'ennuyer !
Sur la colline le moulin sommeille,
Ici on peut se taire pendant des années.

Au-dessus des cuscutes fanées,
Une abeille vole doucement ;
Au bord de l'étang, j'appelle l'ondine,
Mais l'ondine est morte.

De la boue couleur de rouille envahit
Le large étang, il s'envase.
Au-dessus du peuplier qui frémit,
Légèrement brille la lune.

Je note tout comme nouveau.
Les peupliers ont une odeur d'humidité.
Je suis silencieuse. Silencieuse, prête
À nouveau à devenir comme toi, terre.
