Hier ist ein Gipfel, um drauf...

zwischen hochgetürmten funkelnden Schätzen;
mitten im Menschlich-Herrlichen.

Here is a pinnacle

Language: English after the German (Deutsch)

Here is a pinnacle upon which to fall asleep.
Here light clouds waft thickly overhead,
which dampen your brow and hot hands.
And waterfalls sing blissfully in the depths,
ransacked by the moon.
I [once] possessed the world. I inhaled
All the fires and every good fortune was mine.

Here is a pinnacle upon which to fall asleep.
Here rests the sleeping-dreamer
between towering, sparkling treasures;
in the middle of the humanly-glorious.
