Tiefer sinket schon die Sonne

Language: German (Deutsch)

Tiefer sinket schon die Sonne,
Und es athmet alles Ruhe,
Tages Arbeit ist vollendet,
Und die Kinder scherzen munter.
Grüner glänzt die grüne Erde,
Eh die Sonne ganz versunken;
Milden Balsam hauchen leise
In die Lüfte nun die Blumen,
Der die Seele zart berühret,
Wenn die Sinne selig trunken.
Kleine Vögel, ferne Menschen,
Berge himmelan geschwungen,
Und der große Silberstrom,
Der im Thale schlank gewunden,
Alles scheint dem Dichter redend,
Denn er hat den Sinn gefunden;
Und das All ein einzig Chor,
Manches Lied aus einem Munde.

Vermellor del capvespre

Language: Catalan (Català) after the German (Deutsch)

El sol ja s’enfonsa més profundament,
i tot alena el repòs,
el treball del dia ha acabat,
i els infants juguen contents.
La terra verda resplendeix encara més verda,
abans que el sol s’hagi amagat del tot;
ara, sense fer fressa, les flors alenen
un agradable bàlsam a l’aire
que tendrament frega l’ànima
quan els sentits extasiats el beuen.
Petits ocells, gent llunyana,
muntanyes que s’alcen vers el cel,
i el gran riu argentat
que sinuós travessa la vall,
tots semblen parlar al poeta
car ell ha trobat llur sentit;
i el món és un únic cor
amb molts cants sortint d’una sola veu.
