We've gone through grief and pleasure together hand in hand: from wandering we're at leisure: above the tranquil land. Round us the vales descending, yet darker turns the sky, two lonesome larks ascending day-dreamingly up high. Come here, and leave them twirling, soon it is time for sleep, lest we might lose our bearing in solitude so deep. O, quietude, all-embracing! Amidst the sunset's breath, how tired are we of pacing - can this, perchance, be Death?
