in einer blauen Hose.
Und wer zwei junge Beine hat,
springt säftefroh, springt sonnensatt
und kauft sich bei ihm Lose.

Dort biegt er um das Giebelhaus,
die Taschen voller Gaben,
da strecken sich die Hände aus,
ein jeder möchte einen Strauß,
hei! für sein Mädel haben.

Ich hole mir auch einen Schatz
hinweg von Glas und Schüssel.
Hut auf! Wir rennen übern Platz!
Herr Lenz, für ihren Busenlatz
ein'n gelben Himmelsschlüssel!

Et acquiert auprès de lui des billets de loterie.

Il est là-bas, près de la maison au pignon,
Les poches pleines de cadeaux,
Les mains se tendent vers lui,
Chacun voudrait un bouquet,
Hé ! pour son amie.

Moi aussi je cherche une chérie
Loin des verres et des plats,
Mets ton chapeau ! Nous courons à travers la place !
Monsieur Printemps, pour son corsage
Une primevère dorée !
