by Felix Ludwig Julius Dahn (1834 - 1912)

Fliege!
Language: German (Deutsch)
Hinter allen dunkeln Wolken
blaut ein Himmel ewig klar;
fliege, fliege, meine Seele,
dringe durch, ein mut'ger Aar!
Trage deine Schmerzgeschicke
mit der Ehrfurcht des Gebets:
Bald voll Gnade, bald voll Strenge,
aber göttlich sind sie stets.

Jene Macht, die holde Sterne
freundlich in die Nacht gestreut,
ist kein Dämon, der der Qual sich
dunkler Menschenstunden freut.
Hinter allen dunkeln Wolken
blaut ein Himmel ewig klar;
fliege, fliege, meine Seele,
dringe durch, ein mut'ger Aar!
