Vöglein, still mit eurem Necken!
Wollt ihr euch ein Nestchen bau'n,
zwitschert leise in den Hecken,
dürft mir nicht das Mägdlein wecken.
Sonne, willst du sie beschau'n,
musst du sittsam dich verstecken;
küss' ihr nicht die Wange braun.
Lüftchen, wollt ihr, sie zu kühlen,
mit dem seid'nen Haare spielen,
o so nehmt euch wohl in Acht,
dass die Holde nicht erwacht!
