Träumen im Winter

Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  ENG
Ich träumte, Du wärst bei mir;
   Ich hegte Dich still am Herzen;
Von all' meinen Wonnen Dir
   Erzählt' ich und meinen Schmerzen.

Du hieltest mich bei der Hand
   In seligem Liebeskosen,
Und draußen blühte das Land
   Im Schmucke der Maienrosen.

Als ich, erwachend, mich fand,
   Noch trunken von Deinem Scherzen:
Wie öd' der Winter im Land',
   Wie öd' der Winter im Herzen!
