by Theobald Kerner (1817 - 1907)

Der Wirth hat ein Fäßlein
Language: German (Deutsch)
Der Wirth hat ein Fäßlein,
Das hat so rothes Blut,
Das hat so starkes Fieber,
Schnappt fast vor Hitze über,
Ein Aderlaß wär' gut.

Der Wirth der ist nicht faule
Und zapft das Fäßlein an:
"Ihr Herren Wohlgeboren,
Ihr lieben Herr Doktoren
O schaut das Blut euch an!"

""Das Blut ist sehr entzündet,
Und schmeckt und schmeckt nach -- mehr,
O köstliches Kuriren!
O herrlich Prakticiren!
Wer stets solch' Doktor wär'!""
