Cançó d’un bell amor
Language: Catalan (Català)
Our translations:  ENG
Oh gerda clavellina,
oh rosa purpurina,
oh vós, tota flairosa,
suau i lluminosa
i pura com un Maig,
doneu-me desseguida
un xic de vostra vida,
que pugui d’esta aurora
tenir-ne almenys un raig.

Doneu-me la clarícia,
doneu-me la letícia,
la joia benhaurada
qui us brilla a la mirada
amb tanta suavitat,
que fa de vostre imperi
dolcíssim refrigeri
per qui es sent en tenebres,
rendit i corsecat.

Si sou la ben florida,
com branca reverdida,
siau la ben fruitada,
com branca assoleiada,
i deu-me la dolçor
de fruita ben madura,
que en vostres llavis cura
de fer ben misteriosa,
l’encís d’un breu petó.

Siau com una branca
esponerosa i franca,
i no talment avara
d’aquesta amor tan clara
que dintre el cor teniu.
Doneu-me’l tot, senyora,
doneu-me’l en bonhora,
com la pomposa branca
ses fruites cada estiu.
