by Johann Ludwig Tieck (1773 - 1853)

Liebe
Language: German (Deutsch)
Weht ein Ton vom Feld herüber
Grüßt mich immerdar ein Freund,
Spricht zu mir: was weinst du Lieber?
Sieh, wie Sonne Liebe scheint:
Herz am Herzen stets vereint
Gehn die bösen Stunden über.

Liebe denkt in süßen Tönen,
Denn Gedanken stehn zu fern,
Nur in Tönen mag sie gern
Alles, was sie will, verschönen.
Drum ist ewig uns zugegen,
Wenn Musik mit Klängen spricht,
Ihr die Sprache nicht gebricht
Holde Lieb' auf allen Wegen,
Liebe kann sich nicht bewegen
Leihet sie den Othem nicht.
