Maistresse, aussi n’ay-je à si haut entrepris
Que pour te bien servir, t’obeir et entendre
Et puis qu’A ninfe esnee Anne je veux espandre
A ta divinité mes soupirs et mes cris.

Je veux donc pour monstrer que ma perseverance
Enfin merirera quelque haute recompence,
T’honorer, te servir, t’eslever jusqu’aux cieux,

Et haut voler ton nom, d’une immortelle sorte :
Non, non pas jusqu’au ciel, de peur qu’il ne m’emporte
Le plaisir de te voir, agreable à mes yeux.
