Caressant à loisir sa chère fantaisie,
Si tu n'y plongeais pas tes glaives douloureux ?

Je l'aime  et veux l'aimer ! Seul et dans mon silence,
Je garde un cœur dont nul ne saurait approcher ;
Tu briseras tes dents sur mon amour immense,
Tu le feras souffrir, sans pouvoir l'ébrécher !

Pour idole à leur cœur si d'autres l'ont choisie,
Moi qui l'aime plus qu'eux, je ne m'en plaindrai pas !
Mais je te chasserai, sinistre jalousie,
Et je l'aimerai tant que tu t'envoleras !
