by Vilhelm Ekelund (1880 - 1949)

Förbi
Language: Swedish (Svenska)
Så solblankt stilla ligger ån
i vårkvällsdager rosigt skär;

av fruktträdsblom och vita slån
en daggfrisk doft mig vinden bär.

Så drömlikt ljust den gamla byn
i lönnalléens saga sus

står tecknad fager för min syn
mot vårkvällshimlens fina ljus -

en lyckostilla, blid idyll
i tryggt och fridsamt hägn

av apelträd och knotig hyll -
en barndomsdröm, en barndomssägn …

Det mörknat över solig stråt,
ur fjärran klagar vipans skri.

Med strömmen driver tyst min båt
förbi …

Confirmed with Vilhelm Ekelund, Samlade dikter I, Atlantis, Stockholm, 2004.
