Märzschnee
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  FIN
Märzschnee rieselt durch die Zweige
und umspinnt den weiten Wald,
alle Vogellieder schweigen,
und es wird so stumm und kalt.

Eine kleine, graue Meise
trillert einmal noch ihr Lied,
einmal noch ein Sonnenstreifen
dünn den stillen Wald durchzieht.

Auf den kalten, nassen Wegen
gehe ich mit leichtem Fuß,
wie ein Lied war mir dein Lächeln
und die Sonnenschein dein Gruß.

Maaliskuun lumi
Language: Finnish (Suomi)  after the German (Deutsch)
Maaliskuun lumi tippuilee oksien läpi
ja kietoo vaippaansa koko metsän,
kaikki linnunlaulu vaikenee,
kaikki on pian niin mykkää ja kylmää.

Pieni harmaa tiainen
livertää laulunsa vielä kerran,
vielä kerran välähtää auringonvalo
kapeana juovana tyynen metsän halki.

Pitkin kylmiä, märkiä teitä
minä vaellan kevein mielin,
sinun hymysi oli kuin laulu,
tervehdyksesi kuin auringonpaiste.
