Verraten
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  FIN
Zu Lüneburg auf dem Kalkberg
da trug ich das Schandenkleid;
zu Lüneburg schob ich den Karren
in Kummer und Herzeleid.

Ich schob ihn sieben Jahre,
[der]1 Karren und der war schwer;
die Ketten an meinen Füßen
die drückten mich allzusehr.

Und als ich kam wieder nach Hause,
da wandtest du ab dein Gesicht;
um dich kam ich in Schande,
du aber kennst mich nicht.

Es wurden meine Hände
um dich von Blute rot;
um dich schob ich den Karren
in Kummer und in Not.

So fahre denn hin, du Falsche,
es soll mich nicht gereun;
zu Lüneburg auf dem Kalkberg
da wird mein Ende sein.
