by Ernst Konrad Friedrich Schulze (1789 - 1817)

Morgenständchen
Language: German (Deutsch)
Sei gegrüßt, du holde Schöne,
dir sei unser Lied geweiht;
dir erschallen diese Töne,
sei gegrüßt, du süße Maid.

Von den Blumen, die da blühen,
die, erwacht aus süßer Ruh',
sanft im Morgenstrahl erglühen,
bist die schönste Rose du!

Holla ho, holla ho!
Sangesbrüder frei und froh!

Trio des Marschliedes
Über blühende Felder,
in die schattigen Wälder,
über grünende Flächen
zu den rieselnden Bächen
immer dahin, immer dahin
mit frohem Sang, mit heit'rem Sinn!

Wie kühlend weht die Morgenluft,
wie labend haucht der Blumenduft,
wie reizend prangt die Flur,
wie schön bist du, Natur!
