Waldeszauber
Language: German (Deutsch)
In des Waldes heiligstillem Dunkel
Träum' ich gern in milder Frühlingsnacht,
Wenn vom Himmel goldnes Sterngefunkel
Und der Mond im Silberglanze lacht,
Wenn ein Bächlein rauscht,
Wenn ein Vogel lauscht,
Und der Duft der Blumen mich umwallt,
Preis' ich dich, du schöner Wald.

Alles ruht, der Wind mit leichten Schwingen
Durch der Bäume Blätterkronen zieht;
Aus den Büschen tönt ein leises Klingen,
'S ist der Waldesnymphen Abendlied.
Holde Zauberpracht,
Duftdurchweh'te Nacht!
Mich umweht manch' stille Traumgestalt
In dem grünen, duft'gen Wald.
