Die Deutschen am Rio de la Plata
Language: German (Deutsch)
Was tönet so kräftig am Plata-Strand,
Macht höher die Herzen uns schlagen?
Was trägt uns hinüber zum heimischen Land,

Lauscht unsrer Lieder Klang.

Mit Macht entströmt der Töne Quell
Aus freier deutscher Brust,
Und rauschend drängt sich Well auf Well
Der heitern Sangeslust.

Confirmed with Argentinien: Land, Volk, Wirtschaftsleben und Kolonisation, erster Band, a nonfiction work written/edited by Adolf N. Schuster, Diessen vor München: Verlagsanstalt Jos. C.
