Mon Moulin
Language: French (Français)
Tout au haut de la collinette
Où ça sent bon le romarin,
Mon moulin tourne son ailette
Qui vire, vire et moud le grain.
Là-bas, là-bas dans la chaumière
Est ma Suzon que j'aime tant ;
J'en ferai bientôt ma meunière,
Moulin de mon cœur sois content.
Moulin, moulin, tourne ton aile,
Joyeusement va ton train-train :
Suzon m'aime. Tourne, pour elle,
Moulin de mon cœur, mouds ton grain !

Regardez la blanche poussière
Que mon moulin fait du blé roux...
Le bon temps, la chaude lumière !
Ohé ! le bonheur est chez nous.
Mais que vois-je ? Suzon ! C'est elle !
Que l'on porte en terre là-bas...
Mon Dieu, que ma peine est cruelle !
Va, moulin, ne t'arrête pas !
Moulin, moulin, tourne ton aile,
Et sous ta meule, avec ton grain,
Écrase à présent ma cervelle,
Mon pauvre cœur et mon chagrin.
