La passionera
Language: Catalan (Català)
La passionera creixia
i engarlandava i guarnia
aquella porta feliç:
mes no n'és com alguna hora
per la seva habitadora
aquella porta que fóra
lo cancell del paradís.

La passionera creixia
i per lo front de Maria
espines eren ses flors.
Cada volta que los veia
una llàgrima li queia
d'aquell ull que sempre roda
ple de dolces resplendors.

La passionera creixia,
i a sa finestra Maria
vers Jesús veient escalar
creus, corones i vergassos,
nuncis greus dc tristos passos,
dels jueus creu veure els braços
que li vénen a robar.
la passionera creixia:
pobre cor lo de Maria
quan la veu paret amunt
enfilar-se amb peus d'aranya
tot teixint sa pena estranya,
embolcar-li sa cabanya
com la mortalla a un difunt!
