Waldesfreuden
Language: German (Deutsch)
Auf der Haide,
In dem Wald
Findet Freude
Jung und Alt. --
Quellen rieseln
Murmelnd schnell,
Auf den Kieseln
Blinkend hell,
Blätter knistern
Unterm Fuß,
Bäumchen flüstern
Trauten Gruß.

Welches Sehnen
Nach dem Wald,
Wenn's von Tönen
Ringsum schallt.
Linde Weste
Ziehn von dannen
Durch die Äste
Dunkler Tannen,
Schläge hallen
Durchs Revier,
Bäume fallen
Dort und hier,

Vögel singen
Munter, frisch,
Rehe springen
Durchs Gebüsch,
Grillen hüpfen
In dem Staube,
Echsen schlüpfen
Unterm Laube. --
Beeren nicken
Frisch im Grün
Zu erquicken
Nach den Mühn!
