by Johann Ludwig Casper (1796 - 1864)

Fischer Klage
Language: German (Deutsch)
Einsam sitz' ich an Baches Rand,
meine Netze sind ausgespannt,
auch die Angel ist hingesandt,
aber mir glücket kein Fang.

Und so sitz' ich viel' Tage schon,
seit mein Liebstes der Erd' entfloh'n,
und mich freuet der dumpfe Ton,
der aus der Welle verhallt.

Fischlein dort in der klaren Flut,
bleibt nur unten in eurem Gut!
Ach, ich weiß ja, wie Trennung tut;
nimmer trenn' ich euch mehr!

Strom, die Netze nimm mit heraus,
ich muss enden des Herzens Graus;
sieh, ein schwarzes, ein liebliches Haus
winkt dem Ermüdeten Ruh'!
