Du glittrande klara bölja!
Language: Swedish (Svenska)
Du glittrande klara bölja,
som skimrar i solens ljus,
Mig tyckes ett vemod dig följa
i allt ditt lekande brus.

I hafvets hemliga gömma,
djupt under solböljans glans
Otaliga sorger drömma,
som blandas i vågornas dans.

Och derför den glittrande vågen
ses skälfva i solens ljus
och derför hon söker att hölja
sin suck i ett lekande brus!
