by Birger Mörner (1867 - 1930)

Än korpens vinge min tanke tar
Language: Swedish (Svenska)
Än korpens vinge min tanke tar och skriande
hest över heden drar, än sträcker han
stark som falken ung öfver doftande skog,
öfver blommande ljung, än skriker han
gällt med en vipas skri,
när dagens ljus är förbi.
Men nalkas han, kära, ditt lugna bo,
en näktergal blir han i aftonens ro,
som dold i de dunklaste törnesnår
de skönaste slag uti skymningen slår
för dig, allerkärasten min.
