Eine Hand voll Erde deckt mich einstens zu, wenn ich müde werde, geh' zu meiner Ruh. Dann stört mich kein Kummer, sanft in kühler Gruft schlaf' ich Todesschlummer, bis Jehova ruft. Amen. Eine Hand voll Erde ist für mich genug; weiß doch, dass ich werde Würmersättigung. Doch im Grab ist Friede, und der Kummer ruht; werde nicht mehr müde, und hier ruht sich's gut. Amen.
