Der Maie, der Maie bringt uns der Blümlein viel. Ich trag ein frei Gemüte, Gott weiß wohl, wem ichs will. Ich wills eim freien Gesellen, derselb der wirbt um mich; Er trägt ein seidin Hemmt an darein so preist er sich. Er meint, es säng ein Nachtigall, da wars ein Jungfrau fein: und kann er mein nicht werden, trauret das Herze sein. Der Maie, der Maie bringt uns der Blümlein viel.
