by Johann Nepomuk Vogl (1802 - 1866)

Der Fischer
Language: German (Deutsch)
Es war einmal ein Junggesell',
der tät' hin fischen geh'n.
Die Wasser schienen klar und hell,
die Sonne war zu schön.
Er schaut wohl in die nasse Flut,
er denkt an sie
und klagt und fühlt den Liebesmut.

Und willst du mich mit Netzen stehlen?
so singt es aus dem Fluss.
Zum Liebsten wollt' ich dich erwählen,
komm her, komm her zum Kuss!
Er zieht das Netz mit großer Pein,
da zappelt und lacht
die Liebste, ach, die Liebste d'rein.

D'rauf fällt sie ihm an seinen Mund
und drückt und halst ihn sehr,
da war er froh und ganz gesund
und klagte nimmermehr.
Sankt Peter segnet ihm den Zug,
er hat mit seinem Fang
der Lust und Freude überg'nug.
