Courir sur un miroir comme un aveugle
et chanter dans l’oreille des dieux
voilà mes désirs aujourd’hui
Mais le vent aura chassé les êtres de leur élément naturel
avant que je passe dans l’avenue plantée de moribonds
qu’un souffle salé ferait renaître
et qu’un cri de paon ferait mourir.
Si je passais ils resteraient éternellement moribonds
c’est pourquoi il faut que je défile devant eux
avec mon ombre
Faute de quoi le meilleur de moi-même
ne sera plus que l’insaisissable soupir
d’un animal que j’ai rêvé dans ma jeunesse
