by Adam Gottlob Oehlenschläger (1779 - 1850)

Vinterangst
Language: Danish (Dansk)
Maanen skinte bleg på Snee,
Natten var saa klar at see;
Nornen bag ved vuggen stod,
Runer skrev ved Barnets Fod.

Hvad du vil og hvad du skal,
Er alt her et sluttet Tal,
Hvad du lever Aar for Aar
Paa din Pande skrevet staar.

Saadan sang hun og forsvandt.
Ingen ved om det er sandt.
Maanen skinner bleg på Snee,
Hvo vil gjennen Natten see?
