Das ist so süß, daß unser rascher Bund
Nicht fein gefädelt ward und lang gesponnen.
Jäh flammten deine Augen wie zwei Sonnen,
Jäh mich erkühnend küßt' ich dir den Mund.

Nicht scheu und zitternd saßen wir am Bronnen,
Wir sprangen jauchzend in den tiefsten Grund!
Das ist so süß, daß unser rascher Bund
Nicht fein gefädelt ward und lang gesponnen.

In Weißglut tauchten wir, und sind nicht wund:
Den brüht’s, der wartet, bis das Erz geronnen!
Wir leerten Eines Zugs den Kelch der Wonnen,
Kein fader Nachgeschmack würgt uns [im]1 Schlund.
Das ist sehr süß an unserm raschen Bund!
