La nuit, le jour, sans toit, sans rien ; 
L’excès même ed’ ma marmelade
A fait s’ trotter mon Ang’ gardien !

Eh donc tout seul, j’ lèv’ mon drapeau 
Va falloir tâcher d’et’ sincère
En disant l’ vrai coup d’ la 
Au moins, j’aurai payé d’ ma peau

Et ça n’ s’ra pas comm’ les vidés
Qui, bien nourris, parl’nt de nos loques. 
Ah faut qu’ j’écriv’ mes soliloques
Moi aussi, j’en ai des Idées.

Et qu’on m’ tue ou qu’ j’aille en prison,
J’ m’en fous, je n’ connais pus d’ contraintes
J’ suis l’Homme Modern’, qui pouss’ sa 
Et vous savez bien qu’ j’ai raison.
