by Karin Boye (1900 - 1941)

Sommardag
Language: Swedish (Svenska)
Havet vilar morgonstilla,
aldrig tyckes det stormar haft,
likt en mäktig ande
soligt morgonstilla,
tung av andakt -- lätt
av klarhetens kraft.
Skarpt och noggrant speglas
klippornas nakna stup.
Genomskinligt enkelt
ligger det vida djup.
Linjeklart,
lätt och rent står allt,
tecknat säkert i luftig ro,
sköljt i doften av salt.
Linjeklar,
tankfull, jämn och ren
skrider dagen i rymdens ljus,
fin som en ädelsten.
