Müdes Kindchen
Language: German (Deutsch)
Wenn es Abend wird und still,
wird mein Kindchen schläfrig,
will nicht mehr spielen, will nicht mehr lachen,
bringt sein Pferdchen in den Stall,
legt auch in den Kasten all'
seine sieben Sachen.

Zieht dem Püppchen aus das Kleid,
muss es ja zur rechten Zeit
in sein Bettchen legen;
Pferd und Puppe schlafen gut,
Kindchen spricht nun wohlgemut
seinen Abendsegen.

Sagt: Gute Nacht! und gibt die Hand,
schlüpft dann, husch! ins Nachtgewand,
schließt die Äuglein müde.
Schlaf', o schlaf' nun ruhig ein,
träum' von lieben Engelein,
schütz' dich Gottes Friede!
