There’s a fairy sleeping in every folded flower,
And a rainbow peeping through every silver shower,
And light leaves shaking and golden blossoms breaking,
The world is waking to April’s magic hour.

There are blossoms falling in every laughing lane,
And cuckoos calling through veils of quiv’ring rain;
The young corn’s springing and all the birds are singing,
