Jardinet
Language: Catalan (Català)
Ai! la rosa, rosa,
ai! el clavell roig;
poncella desclosa
on la llum reposa
fulgurant de goig.

Jardinet, si tu sabies,
quines penes fas sofrir!
En tu penso nits i dies
i no tens repòs per mi.

L'aigua fresca, fresca,
rega i regaràs;
l'aigua corre i tresca
com raig d'una bresca,
regadora al braç.

Jardinet, si tu sabies,
quin delit jo poso en tu,
no conec de melangies
ni altre afany mon cor s'endú.

L'hora bella, bella,
tots els dematins
una flor novella,
com una altra estrella
entre el verd dels brins.

Jardinet, si tu sabies,
quin bo dóna el teu florir,
si cregués les gelosies
jo et voldria sempre així.

Ai! la rosa, rosa,
ai! el clavell roig;
poncella desclosa
on la llum reposa
fulgurant de goig.
