Am Dach da baut sie sich ein Haus, 
Da schaut die Kleinen zum Fenster hinaus.   

Hopp hopp hopp zu Pferde!   
Wir reiten um die Erde,  
Die Sonne die reitet hinter drein:  
Wie wird sie am Abend müde sein!  

Hopp hoppe!  Hopp hoppe!  Hopp hoppe!  
Das Pferd geht im Galoppe,   
Das Pferd das fängt an wild zu werden, 
Und wirst den Reiter auf die Erden  --
