Note d'Agosto
Language: Italian - Venetian (dialect) 
Do baloni de carta in t'un batelo,
la vose de un'armonica lontana,
dal Lido quieto un venteselo,
San Zorzi in bassa e in fianco la Dogana.
 
La luna in alto,che da mezo el cielo
se specia in aqua come 'na sultana;
la gondola che passa e che bel balo
in fregola la manda e se alontana.
 
E mi sul molo pensieroso intanto
che vado tormentandome a dar viva
tuta la poesia de quel'incanto,
el biscio sento d'un vapor che ariva,
e sento l'onda che de tanto in tanto
vien per burlarme a sciafisar la riva.
