by Gustav Gamper (1873 - 1948)

Segnung
Language: German (Deutsch)
Wehmut himmlisch ausgegossen
floß auf güldnes Abendland,
Liebesreiser sind entsprossen,
Seelige wandeln Hand in Hand.

Eine Herde nah am Hügel
schenkt ihr freundlichstes Geläut,
und des Berges Wanderspiegel
sich vor keiner Welle scheut.

Stiegen Boten heilig nieder
mit des Trostes mildstem Licht,
grüßen sich Getrennte wieder,
schau ich Gottes Angesicht?

Wehmut himmlisch hingegossen,
später Herbst auf Heideland
hat mir Abschied fromm beschlossen,
segnet an des Lebens Rand.
