by Rainer Maria Rilke (1875 - 1926)

Der Sturm will herein
Language: German (Deutsch)
Der Sturm will herein,
ihm ist Bang in all den Bäumen.
Und ich bin allein
und traurig von Träumen,
die ich durchlitt.
Und sehne mich längst:
nicht sinnen und säumen, -
wie einen Hengst
ihn zähmen und zäumen
zu berauschendem Ritt.
Und des Sturmes Schritt
soll in leichtem befreiendem Wagen
weit an die Wipfel der Wälder schlagen,
über Wasser und Wall, über Nachten und Tagen,
über Hüttenhocken und Kirchenragen,
über Tiefen und Türme tragen!

Und du komm hoch! Meinem jubelnden Jagen
raub ich dich mit
