und schiaß'n tan's als wia nit g'scheit;

Mir jag'n's bei Regen und Sonnenschein
weil mir des Herrn Kaisers Dragoner sein!

Und rennen's a no so weit und so vül,
dös is unser'n Ross nur a Kinderspül,
mir werd'n do alle derjag'n!
Dann reit'n ma weit ins Russland hinein,
weil mir des Herrn Kaisers Dragoner sein!

Mir stengan zu Öst'reich bei Tag und bei Nacht,
und droht a der Feind mit der riesigsten Macht,
's Herz tuat d'rum kaner verlier'n!
Mer zerhauen 'n Stahl und zerhauen 'n Stein,
